5th Annual mGluRs
Midwest/Great Lakes Undergraduate Research Symposium in Neuroscience

September 28th, 2013
Wabash College
Crawfordsville, Indiana

It’s a mouthful, but we hope you’ll join us anyway. In the spirit of regional undergraduate neuroscience conferences such as SYNAPSE and Midbrains, mGluRs is the annual showcase for the excellent neuroscience research done by undergraduates in the Midwest/Great Lakes region.  Since 2009, the annual symposium has brought faculty and students together to present their work, and to present information on professional development for faculty, and career options for students.

This year, the Department of Psychology at Wabash College will host the fifth annual conference for States Touching Ohio (and Ohio, of course) in Crawfordsville, Indiana (moving mGluRs out of Ohio for the first time!) on September 28, 2013. The conference will include oral and poster presentations by students, workshops, a graduate school panel, a keynote address and not least, breakfast and lunch.

The 2013 mGluRs Keynote will be given by Dr. Pedro Irazoqui, Director of the Center for Implantable Devices at Purdue University. Dr. Irazoqui’s address is titled “Translational Medical Collaborations in Neuroengineering.”
